WHITE MORD SITH Legend of the Seeker HERO DENNA COSTUME Sold Date:07/12/2010 Channel:Online Auction Source: eBay HERO DENNA WHITE MORD SITH COSTUME from LEGEND OF THE SEEKER This costume, worn by Jessica Marais in Ep 207- RESURRECTION, is a true COLLECTOR’S ITEM. In accordance with the mythology of Terry Goodkind’s books, white is the colour a Mord Sith wears when she takes a mate. Denna was the only character in Legend of the Seeker to wear a white Mord Sith costume. /watch?v=kW1UBYGaO_0 The moulded leather strappings feature an ornately carved and embossed tooling unique to this costume. 1. LEATHER BODICE: features side back lycra panels and stretch leather sleeves for ease of movement. Elasticised lacing runs up the inside arm and down the body. Closure is centre back lacing. 2. LEATHER PANTS: Pants are leather to below knee with a lycra lower leg. The suspender mechanism hooks the pants to bodice. Side front zip and elasticised lacing down sides. 3. PLATFORM BOOTS: High hero boots match the costume with a painted decorative design on the heel and silver stud detail. 4. COLLAR: Moulded and tooled leather panels are laced together with elastic. Closure is with brass studs at the centre back 5. CORSET BELT: The tooled wide leather base has been moulded over a form matching the actor’s measurements to ensure a perfect fit. Closure is front side boot hooks laced with elastic. (Check out the construction of the straps and buckles for clever elasticised solutions for comfort .) 6.TOOLED HIP BELT: Features heart-shaped trophy buckle. The AGIEL HOLSTER hangs from hip belt on left side and attaches to thigh strapping. 7. LEG STRAPPINGS : Tooled and moulded leather base with straps to buckle onto the corset belt. 8. LEATHER GLOVES If you measure the same as the mannequin measurements below, this costume will fit you the way a Mord Sith costume is supposed to fit- like a second skin. (Yes, the small waist measurement is correct!) Please note the elasticised panels in the construction of the costume allow for some fitting leeway.
