KAHLAN WHITE CONFESSOR COSTUME WORN BY BRIDGET REGAN FEATURING SEASON 2 STYLE CORSET, SKIRT & BOOTS
This auction is for Kahlan's Season 2 iconic White Confessor Costume worn by lead actress Bridget Regan in the television series, Legend of the Seeker. This Season 2 corset features the same lines and detail as the season 1 corset but with modified construction. A clear difference can be seen in re-shaped extended side panels which replaced the inserted hip panel of the season 1 corset. The skirt with 2 side front splits was introduced with the Season 2 travel costume and features leather applique detail which references the Season 1 travel costume. The thigh high boots were also introduced with the Season 2 travel costume.
1. WHITE CONFESSOR DRESS: This rayon, silk velvet dress is fully lined with silk. The many panels enable a perfect fit through the body extending into a very full skirt. The costume has been designed with movement in mind which can be seen to great effect in the numerous fight sequences throughout the series. Hand stitched detail in gold and silver metallic threads runs along design lines and around the hood. Lacing centre front.
2. CORSET: Heavily stitched leather corset is spiral boned with cotton sateen pleated bra cups. The metal detail is silver and was custom made by the costume department jeweller. Lacing centre back.
3. SKIRT: Floor length cotton sateen skirt has fullness in the back and side front splits. Leather binding and applique match the corset.
4. BOOTS: Thigh high customised leather boots have built in slits on the outside leg for daggers.
